Two ancient rivers. One offering.
For thousands of years, Ganga Mata has received prayers of fire and song at her banks at dusk. This September, that living ritual comes to the Thames.
Join us for a free, day-long celebration of Indian culture – community stalls, delicious food, live music and dance, with plenty to keep little ones busy. As the sun sets, the day builds to its heart: the magical Ganga Aarti on the Royal Steps of the UNESCO heritage site. Open to all; no background, belief or prior practice required.
